Together with your driving school we've put together a one-of-a-kind project — and you're part of it. Years ago we created the concept of indoor riding on electric motorcycles. Our main motivation was our own experience of getting a motorcycle licence — the road was a bumpy one, even though we were lucky with our driving schools.
HOW TO REDEEM YOUR CODE
Use the code from your driving school on any “2-HOUR ride” course. It covers the full price of the booking, all gear included — you pay nothing extra. Just pick an open date, fill in your details and enter the code in the cart instead of paying. It works on weekdays and weekends alike. HOW DOES IT WORK?
The goal of the ride is to get you ready for driving school. Controlling a motorcycle takes specific skills — throttle, clutch, gear lever, front and rear brake, a heavy bike, unfamiliar surroundings, new people, an instructor grading you. All of that adds up to a serious load of stress, and under stress it's hard to focus, let alone learn new habits. At Pitland we take most of that off your shoulders: you'll master several key skills of riding on two wheels right here. That way you'll feel confident at driving school and can calmly focus on the clutch and shifting.
WHAT DOES THE SESSION LOOK LIKE?
The course takes 2 hours. In the first hour you'll tame the ePit in the training zone and pick up your first habits through a few simple drills — throttle and brake control, body position, looking through the corner and low-speed handling. In the second hour you'll lock it all in during track sessions. We ride in small groups of three at most, and one of our SAMs looks after you the whole time. You don't need to bring a thing — we lend you all the gear on site.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
- 2 hours of riding on an electric pit bike (ePit)
- Guidance and coaching from one of our SAMs
- Complete gear — helmet, riding suit, gloves, boots
- Indoor track — we ride whatever the weather
IMPORTANT
- The code is valid only for the “2-HOUR ride” course — not for the 1-hour ride or any other course.
- Arrive 30 minutes before your session starts. Riding requires a leather suit with sliders, sturdy boots, a full-face helmet and gloves — we lend you all of it on site. Every course includes a short briefing on how the ePit works and how to ride safely.
